Julia Adams Profile

Julia Adams is a part of the new generation of talented and thick skinned Swedish artists and songwriters. In 2015 she released her debut EP Chanslös, and ever since Julia has written and released one dreamy beat based pop song after another. Julia writes lyrics in Swedish, personal & catchy whether it’s a ballad, RnB, or a classic pop song, & always with a high sense of recognition. She has performed live all over Sweden, with a presence that makes you think she was born & raised on stage. This is not too far from the truth. Her first song ever she wrote in high school, & by 16 she was already in a band, Little Marbles. 6 years & 3 albums later the duo parted ways, & Julia started working with Chords on the EP Chanslös, & was signed to Universal Music. By listening to hiphop Julia discovered a new dimension to her song writing – a mix between the simple & the essential, a softness & a cockiness. The past 2 years she has been touring & writing songs for herself and for a number of Swedish and Norwegian artists. All of her singles have been played regularly on radio & Allt jag nånsin was picked as one of the best songs of 2015 on Radio P3. Julia has a unique voice, effortless & enchanting at the same time, & strong enough for whatever song she decides to take on - which has led to celebrated covers of Drake and Zara Larsson. In 2018 she released 3 new singles, played lots of live shows - and in spring 2019 we can expect the release of her debut album.
